Yeah Baby...

Severe lack of communication as of late. My apologies friends. It's not that I don't have anything to write about, I just haven't had free time. Seems to be a trend with me. But today is my, I hide from the outside world and re-energize day. I have some awesome news as well.

Yesterday I got a bonus from my fantastic work, and let's just say I am very grateful. (Hello Spain!) Considering that I've only been there three months and they gave me a yearly bonus (enough for some months in Spain) and a raise, who can be unhappy with that? Honestly I know it's God's support coming through the vehicle of my job. They have been so awesome to me and I am soo thankful that I found them at the perfect time. I have also learned that honoring God and sticking to my convictions, that He has honored me. It has been such a valuable lesson to learn. And as always, I am blown away by His provision and love.

My letters are going out this week for Spain and North Africa, and I'm excited. I finally got my stuff approved and good to go. So if you haven't given me your e-mail and real mailing address, then you better e-mail it to me, myspace me or post a comment and I'll e-mail you so you don't need to post it on the Internet.

In other awesome news, Blogger has upgraded their service and I will be starting a specific Blog just for my work in Spain and North Africa. This will be a private blog and only my friends will have access to it. I am thrilled about this because now I can keep everyone updated and it will be secure. So if you want to know all about my business, let me know :)

All other fronts of life are good. I have been enjoying SF a lot recently, thanks to Melissa's Birthday extravaganza, the Fray concert last night, and my work's Christmas party at the Ritz this December. I'm glad to be getting my fill, when I lived in LA I missed it oh so much. It's good to be home. (Of course there is no city like NY, whom I fell in love with this past June, but it's still a great city) Here is a pic of Melis and I at the concert. The best part of the concert was when the lead singer fell on stage when he slipped on the champagne that they threw on one of their crew guys because his wife is going to have a baby. He was laughing so hard he could barely get up and so was everyone else.

I have been dealing with a lot of heart issues lately too. I believe that a part of being truly committed to a person in friendship is agreeing to share every part of their life with them, the best and worst of times. It's one of the hardest feelings in the world to know someone you love is going through so much pain. There is something about deep grief that makes everything in this world more gray than it has ever been. The older I find myself, the more I realize how un-black and white things can be at times. At least in the realm of the heart.

I have discovered this great chocolate cafe recently as well. It's cute, and different from your average coffee shop. There are comfy chairs and flowers on the table and not to mention any kind of chocolate you can desire. If you live in Nor Cal, Oregon or Illinois check it out. Ummmm. Specialty chocolates galore. You know, right up my alley for a taste of the finer things in life. Just thought I'd share with the other chocolate lovers out there.

Well that's all for now I need to get busy with my letter sending.

YEY for pay raises etc YEY for Melissa and her birthday. YEY for slipping on champagne and laughing your ass off. I love it when that happens.

(BTW ass is not a rude word in the UK, people...it is a creature akin to a donkey. Just in case I'd offended any US people...)
