My Return...
Ok, so I admit I have been absent. I DO have good reasons for it this time :) I have been a busy chica these past weeks and been neglecting my online activity.Top reason, I stated school again last week. Yes that's right more school. Confused? Don't be..Yes I did graduate in May, but I started taking business classes at the community college to decide if I want to get my MBA. Why you ask? Because I want to be unstoppable, and I think it will be fun. :) So far I'm really enjoying it and I'm going towards the process. I figured that I would get exposure by taking classes and not having to spend a lot to do it, not to mention all the work involved in applying to Grad school and getting accepted into a program, so this is what I decided to do to see if I should put forth all the major effort necessary to go for it. As for right now, I'm pretty set on working towards it. It's going to be a long couple of years for the process but I'm going to try and set myself up for success. I will have to prepare to take the GMAT test for a while and hope to get a high enough score to pass or I will have to take it over and over. But I will eventually pass. The issue is most of the material I haven't studied for 6 years or ever studied. So I'm going to have to take calculus, accounting and all kinds of other hated classes to make my self prepared. Calling all my super smart friends!!!! Tutor needed!! :)
Then I need to land some great jobs in business to build my resume so I can have proven applicable work experience, then apply for MBA programs. Then see who accepts me and go accordingly. AHH so much detail!!! All this to say, the whole process will take a few years so I can build up experience and decide remotely what I want to go after. Or I'll just pass the Gmats and go baby. Either way I'm still planning on moving to NY and trying to find some great opportunities there in the mecca of higher business. This is what is going to allow me to live in NY and work with the street ministries there. So if anyone knows any business rockstars that could hook me up, please let me know :) SO that's the scoop on the schooling update.
So just to clarify in case anyone is feeling lost in words, I am in NO way abandoning my calling and passion for ministry. I'm just adding this in the mix. I figure it can fuel my ministry habit. One thing that never changes, if God tells me to go somewhere and do something else, I'll go no matter what that is. I am so excited however to dream of mixing my passion for God with the business world and to see what He can do with someone who is open. I am excited to think of all the possibilities that this creates.
In other news... I'm really enjoying my new church and making new friends slowly and completely happy about the fact it's on Sunday night. For all of you that know me well I'm sure you are laughing because you know I'm ten times more alive at night so it's a perfect fit for me.
My job is doing well, but I know that I'm not ever going to be an engineer, so I don't really see myself there long term, but for Spain it's the perfect fit for now.
Yes Spain, still a go. It's now going to be Worldbase Mediterranean and Linds and I will be going to different muslim counties that I cannot name for safety. So far all I know for sure is that we will be working on the base and going out to serve the women, abandoned children and what ever else they can find for us. Linds will be doing medical work and I'll be doing other stuff. I'm still trying to get my materials together and my awesome friend Steven (Hasi) offered to help me out. You'll all know when I do because I'll post it up.
Well the time has come to say goodbye. This is getting long, I suppose that's what happens when I don't write for a long time. There is tons more I could ramble about but I have to go do homework. That's right, (Amy, Jenn, Mo, Shyla...) all of you who remember the special way I amp myself up for paper writing should be smiling right now. I wish you were all here to assist me in my cheering and screaming. (Otherwise named by my previous roomies as "giving it up")
Let the games begin...
Love you all and I miss you.

The Anti-blogger
I am posting simply to break myself from the non-posting rut. I keep thinking about it and then just not doing it. Lame. It's not that I haven't been doing things or thinking about deep thoughts but... I've been an avoidant.. Oh well. Here are some updates in an nonsensical form of delivery. Apparently I like to communicate in lists.
1. My beloved dog Meshach is sick. (Cancer kind of sick) It's one of my least favorite things to think about. I love my dog so much, we've had him for around 12 years and I can barely remember life without him. I hate even writing about it because I get emotional. I find myself watching him all the time to make sure he's breathing. I hate it. To those of you know have met my sibling like animal you understand what a big part of my family he is even though he's just a dog. I know he's old too and we have been lucky to have him this long, but I hate the idea of him leaving me forever. A hole that cannot be replaced. I know you all understand. Anyway enough of that. I don't want to talk about it anymore.
2. I just got back from camping in Pinecrest, the place I have gone every year with my family since I was 5. Pinecrest is like a second home to me, so many memories and stories. It's truly one of my most cherished places because I have spent so many summers there growing up. My only complaint was that my trip was too short this time. Ahhh I love the mountains, the smell of the trees, and campfires.
3. I have been church shopping here recently (and plan to be for a while) and I went to this great meeting last weekend, made some new friends and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I'm always going to be a worship junkie I'm afraid. I suppose I just feel at home in church, in worship that is. I love it. I can be halfway around the world singing in another language and I still feel at home because I'm in worship. This time I loved it because I was in a whole different sort of church than my recent norm and it was refreshing. I did however realize that next time I have to go in the back during worship because I'm about 90 times more expressive than the group there. What else is new? :) And that's the extremely toned down version of me. Ha ha but altogether I loved it and here is the link so you can see what's it's all about. I went to it because it looked like my church in LA (which I miss and love) It was great. I'll keep you posted.
4. Still working, hanging out with friends and haven't unpacked everything yet it's ridiculous. I'm planning my room re-decoration and it's going to be fun.
